Looks great on black, on other colors I don't think it would look as hot.

I hear ya. I´m still wondering wether to leave them on or not. Maybe I´ll let lazyness decide Though the switch really takes less than 15 minutes...

I think it looks amazing! The light make a line that helps extend the car's beltline from the side, to around the rear, and over to the other side, creating a sense of continuity. I love it!

I don't blame you. I was looking forward to them but I didn't like them much in your pictures. I might be looking to get the European version with red-looking blinkers that flash yellow.

I have those (Euro stock) and they´re not really nice either.
That way you get three colours in the cluster (red white and almost red with orange shining through). If I had the option I´d stick with the completely red

I found they looked nice, but in an oldfashioned way. And the rest of the E90 is anything but oldfashioned. So out they went. I´m not sure I´d like E46 lights on the E90 either. Maybe it´s just a matter of getting used to the stock ones.

Or maybe BMW will have the perfect rear lights for the E90 on the first facelift in a few years.

Come to think of it, I did like the neon rear lights of the Z8. Probably the only thing in the Z8 that looked modern. So neon or at least LED would be nice.

I lilke what VW is doing with the rear lights on their more expensive cars. (Phaeton, Touareg etc.)

No, the backlights we have look better because these smoked lights have two top clears where as ours have a more "roundy" effect and it closes the attention in a new design concept whereas these smoked lights are using last generation's concept, top two clear, bottom two red... like everybodys doing it... 2nd generation acura TL, previous A4... 2000 civic SI... on and on

Here's the blackline smoked lights on a silver car in case anyone else was curious how these look on other colors.

You know, these would look 100x better and 100x more modern if they didnt darken the lights along the trunk line, that just makes it look more like a 90s cadillac as Tierfeund said once lol.

Here's the comparison picture of stock versus smoked lights. Personally I prefer the stock ones on a light colored car.

I like them. i just dont think its worth an EXTRA 400 bucks if you already have the stock tail lights.

Does anybody have the product code for this? Any news on when will it be offered in US? Otherwise I can just drop by a BMW dealership in Munich and get a set. If they have it, of course
