What tires are on your car? Some tires have softer sidewalls which hurts turn-in response

There was also a bump in response with my M3 LCWs, but that's neither here nor there compared to an E90 and F56 |

The end result is exactly what I wanted. Compliant but planted. Turn in is much improved with the camber plates and the car is very neutral with little to no understeer. |

So the tires aren't your issue. Look into your pressure and alignment settings as already mentioned.

People sometimes complain about the slow steering rack in the car, I guess there's a difference between the regular one and the active steering one, but I wouldn't know, only driven mine. But yeah, get your toe set to 0 in the front, and maximize the camber. Last edited by dtla1; 06-11-2020 at 12:15 PM.. Reason: Fixed "Adaptive" to Active Steering |

The other thing is size, if you're running wider (and taller sidewall) tires but on factory rims, you will lose steering response. It's probably pretty small, but depending again on the tire could have an effect. My bet is on alignment mostly. |

So dumb dumb me forgot to add bushings to my sway bar order. Just to confirm, I need 2 each of the top and bottom bushings and then only 2 of the bushing brackets, correct?

But yes, by your question you can tell what is needed. They might have come if you'd ordered a kit but most often would need to be separate. |

https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=31_0804 It does seem odd as the diameter is shown as the same as a 1er bar.

Aftermarket wise - I think what I mentioned will be true. Diameters can be funky because some bars will be constant all the way through, others will change / neck down in spots. |

Since the bushings go around the thick part is does seem weird that the M bar has different bushings and brackets for that matter. Also on the Turner page there is a mounting kit at the bottom for the ARB. I remember looking into this upgrade and getting a bit befuddled so just stuck the 135i bar I had laying around on the car. As an aside, i got a nice improvement with adjustable front endlinks.
