135 Convertible Exhaust hitting Bracing -WHO MAKES A PIPE FOR THIS?
Anyone use spacers for the Support beams so Axel Back exhaust clears??
Any Ax Back Exhaust take this into consideration??? This is AFE installed and I just wedged a piece of high heat rubber pipe between. It's snug enough to have it in place but I would like a better solution... There is no support bar on the coupe's... I can drop that bar with spacers, but does anyone's exhaust take the vert into account??? |

Just installed AF-E's axle back and have the same issue. Seems a little BS how AF-E Lists the exhaust as E82/E88 yet I have a pipe lying on my crossmember now. Maybe it's Hammer time

I actually had an afe muffler delete and it rattled like crazy at idle because it the bracing. I'm going to do an inline remote valve and just vent the exhaust straight down. Will sound just as good as the afe and will be able to go to stock with a push of a button.

It was a simple fix I used a big stainless steel nut I had lying around about a 1/2" tall. You just need to shim the middle brace on the exhaust side it literally took 2 minutes.

How important is that brace that runs under the cat-back? Unfortunately, my aftermarket exhaust is being pushed up by the extra cross brace on the convertible, and makes a slight vibration at idle.

I run a maddad whisper, and also needed a spacer. I used a longer bolt and a stainless steel collar with a couple large washers on both ends. A bolt like the above poster wrote would work too. I didn't think of that. Lol
