People Suck. A lot. A whole, awful lot.

I GOT HIT, AGAIN, TODAY!

They sideswiped me because they had no idea where they were supposed to go, and had no idea where they were. Their fault, as is the theme of my accidents currently (and hopefully forever).

Obviously, I'm not Irish.

That's two hits in the last two weeks, and I am so sick of exchanging information at this point!

The old damage wasn't even repaired yet, I had an appointment for tomorrow, but that may go down the toilet now that two insurance companies are going to be fighting over who gets to not repair what.

Good News, though: my airbag light is gone, and so are all associated codes.

WTF?!?! You need a lucky carbon fiber hood (or something), like Matticus91 got. It's been working for him, so far.

Sorry, buddy...

At this point do you really want to get it repaired?
Take the checks as down payments on a M2, and never drive it.

Damn dude! NOVA sucks for traffic. My wife was rear ended 4 times in 5 years in her old car, a Nissan Rogue!

I should though. I think a GT4 style hood would do the trick...

At least the other drivers insurance is paying for it.

I got rear ended a few weeks ago by a landscaping truck. The driver was an employee. And listed as an "excluded driver" on the owners insurance policy. So they aren't paying.

Still unsure how that's allowed. It's going to court. So yeah, people suck.

That really sucks. The company should pay up.

Dang OP, yeah sorry to hear... and twice just a few weeks apart too! If possible, try to look at the bright side. It's a statistical one at that, in that at this point, you should be good for a LONG time now. Best of luck!

"Excluded"? As in the insurance company specifically stated that that they were not insuring such-n-such a person, yet the owner of the landscaping company allowed such-n-such a person to drive their vehicle?

You may own the assets of a landscaping business in the near future.

I know you're pissed off and I'd be as well... But it's just car, honestly. I could've made a thread with the same exact title and it could be about people in my family so much worse than a ding on a car

True... first world problems, but this is a car forum and we're anal car enthusiasts (at least I am) and we don't like it when someone messes with our baby. lol

Also, it happened to the OP twice in a short period of time.

It's more an inconvenience than anything, the good thing is that no one was hurt, and my car is still driveable. The people were very apologetic and were very friendly about it. At least I've only been hit by nice people...

Today I'm supposed to take it in for repairs from the last accident, but they may not fix it until the insurance companies duke it out...

Chris, correct me if I am wrong, but you are around 18 years old, and this is your first nice car. You worked hard for it, and have done a lot to it. Correct?

I don't blame you for being upset, I would be too, and I have had lots of nice, and expensive cars. But my first was a POS Opel, and I was still proud of it, because I worked hard for it and kept it as nice as possible.

Bummer for you, truly. To you, or anyone with eyes, this is not "just a ding", it is significant damage.

I am 17. I've worked hard-ish (mostly house chores, and helping dad fix his old BMW). I love my car. Sure, it has 170k miles (woot-woot), and has probably the worst paint on the forums (debatable), but it's mine (at least, it will be when I can legally own things, LOL), and that's what matters.

I'm thankful that I can still drive it. While I do care how it looks, as long as it drives fine, I'm okay with it for a little while. It was kinda funny, my excitement about my airbag light being fixed outweighed being hit again. I'm really thankful that I didn't need a tow, and that there's no tell-tale mechanical damage. I think I did throw a wheel weight though, because there's a vibration at speed that wasn't there before.

PS: Surprise tank-slappers are really scary going 55, but also kind of fun...
