Question Remus Quad Exhaust & Charcoal Canister

I swear I am going to squash this issue.

I have been looking at various setups with the Remus through the forums and even pictures from ModBar***** website showing the exhaust.

NO HEAT SHIELD IS SURROUNDING THE TIPS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE in any of their setups from there install shops.

No recommendation on what should even go behind these tips, and to be frank I don't think that there is even ANY SPACE!

Will these tips create such a significant amount of heat to damage this canister, and if so why wouldn't Remus include that with the kit since it is supposed to be a direct bolt on.

Car is in the shop pretty much complete from minor repairs (some idiot side swiped me and took of my mirror and some paint damage) and I really bought this system because I love the way it looks, especially with the 1M style bumper AND no modding was involved.

I was going to go for a custom quad exhaust setup but unfortunately I just didn't have the time for my car to be sitting in the shop, it's my daily baby.
Well now that it's been in the shop for a few weeks I asked them to give me a quote to put this bad boy on and they said it shouldn't take long but they didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned the canister.

WORST CASE SCENARIO. Can I run this exhaust as I have seen in almost every picture, without anything surrounding the passenger side tips?

Thanks for your time and any input is greatly appreciated or if your running this setup what did you do?

Sorry If I'm not quite understanding your concern/question here.

But it's my understanding the Remus quad requires no modification other than the rear diffuser to work.

Also I don't think enough heat will go to the passenger side tips to be of concern.

Thanks I guess no issues got the bad boy on! Now to find a diffuser that fits, the one I got from Mod******** with the 1M style bumper did not fit with the Remus, very upsetting.

Exhaust is looking Good! Sorry about the diffuser, but you'll find one that fits. Make a video (if you like) when you're all done so we can hear it. And see it with your new diffuser.
