That makes sense, sort of, though you'd have to be exposed to a tornado for the form-fitting cover to expel itself from the car. I cut the straps at the cover to prevent future fiddling with the bag as it was just too bothersome to fiddle-with.

Reviving this one from the dead...
I just ordered my Plushweave from calcarcover.com with cable/lock and bag for $209 shipped. I have a garage, but share the space with 2 other tenants, one on each side of me. The one on my right is the resident manager and all the refrigerators, stoves, building supplies, he keeps in his bay. With the 100% cotton plush weave, it will protect me from accidental nicks and scratches if it ever happened. Also its treated with 3m scotchguard for some water repellancy in the once in a while event its parked outdoors.
