17in BMW style 32 on 1ers?

Which is the the best way to make a 17x8 (or 17x7.5) style 32 fit on my car?

I think E46 or E36 has a 17x8 with et47, would this offset work?

Or what's another wheel that looks like style 32 and isn't a pain in the ass to find and not $300/ea (used is ok)?

I just think this looks great - different setup from the usual APEX/VMR.

Yup, they fit no problem.

E46 had a staggered set of 8x18 ET47 and 8.5x18 ET50. Stock E82 18" size is 7.5x18 ET49 and 8.5x18 ET52.

From a little research it looks like the 18" e46 fitment is rare in the US. Which is disappointing, I want a set for my e82.

Here is a pic of them:

And they don't have much of a lip.

I have e46 M3 wheels that fit on e82, but you need 4 front wheels.

Here is a link to my thread about them:

I found them locally for a great deal on Craigslist.

I'm running a square setup of Style 32 8x17s, ET47 offset - I think this size was originally offered on the e36 and e46. I got them from Turner Motorsports a few months ago, but they're no longer available there. Bimmerworld still offers them.

Just a heads up they have very bad barrel clearance, even for 17s. E39 style 32s did not fit over my 330i's brakes.

On my 128i with the standard brakes the clearance is fine, but it might be an issue with a big brake kit or on a 135i. E39 Style 32s wouldn’t fit an e82 - the offset is way too low (ET20).

@parameter416 did the style 32 for without any modification? I purchased a set last year and sold it thinking it wouldn't fit. ):

All I can say is they fit no problem on my 128i M-Sport with the standard brakes.

From what I've read the 8x17-inch Style 32s are made in three different offsets: ET20, ET34, and ET47. Mine have an offset of ET47. I'm pretty sure the other 2 offsets wouldn't fit. They all might have clearance issues with big brakes. They might not fit on a 135i because of the larger brakes.

Older thread but am curious about the tire size. Is this 225/45/17 all around?
