Congratulations E90Fleet

On your recent 325 E90 order.

Can you fill us in on the story. Like, did you organise to trade in your 5 series car? What other options did you order. Did you get a good price?

I am most pleased that you have the opportunity to purchase this fine automobile.

Cheers Mate!

Thanks David

No, ill be keeping the 5 series in the family, its size is required by some other family members, so Ill drie it sometimes and other times the new E90.

Unfortunately one would never get what that car is really worth. It actually cost less than the E90 when new. So the longer we can make use of it the better

Basic Setup for the E90 is

325i
Steptronic
Black Sapphire
Black Leather
M Sports Pack with 17" M Sport wheels
Sunroof
Xenons

Before buying her e90, my wife drove a 1989 e34 535i (which she loved from the day we bought it until the day we sold it -- pretty much at my insistence -- and thank God the e90 has lived up to expectations, but that's another story).

Anyway, we sold the e34 to a nice college kid for $4500, which was above market for a 16 year old car with 225,000 miles, and I think the new owner still got a steal as it was in such good shape (just no more room in the stables for us to keep another car).

In the paperwork, I found the original 1989 window sticker -- about $48, 700 1989 dollars -- just about the sticker price of her e90 in 2005 dollars. Go figure.
