I'm in Manassas which is about 30 min from Falls Church. There should be a weekly 1 Series meet in Fairfax Corner. Haven't been because of my work schedule. If you go let me know how it is.

Did you do the cheesesteak caravan or Fairfax meet? Also was it mostly 1series?

I'd go to one of these meets, but it means I'd have to wash my car, and I'm just too lazy for that.

With all the rain and pollen as of late, keeping the car clean is quite the challenge. Especially if you park outside.

Out of curiosity would you guys want to do a day at the track/cruising or something like that this summer?

Being this is my first BMW the idea of taking it to the track does sound exciting and makes me nervous at the same time. This past Sunday a buddy told me about Summit Point in WV and they have a FATT (Friday at the Track) program for novice and higher drivers at the track for $250

Hey guys. There's a big DC metro area bmw group that has multiple meetups all through out the week. There are a few 1 series there (mine included) but it's a pretty cool group of car people.

As far as doing track days. FATT is overpriced. There are better/cheaper groups to run with at Summit. I've run with just about all of them. I'm doing a weekend at Summit the weekend after 4th of July if anybody is interested. If you want more info about the dc metro area bmw group and such send me a PM.
