Software Updates

MY car is saying a software update is required and is giving me a load of faults. Im just looking to update the cars software to see if this will fix my problems.
I see that bmw no longer offers updates via usb on their and was wondering if there is any other way to get the downloads for the software.

cheers

It depends on what year, etc. For modern BMWs, the MyBMW app handles updates. For older models, I'm not sure – maybe they have to go to the dealer? Of course, they're very likely not getting updates at this point anyway.
