first time this car arrived to me last summer. first mods were brake upgrade and bucket seats with 6 point harness. and since that time we are spending a lot of time together in my garage |

some more pics after break.
we have bought st xta suspension for our 135. i really like all this options for their price - front linear springs and adjustable top mounts. also 1m front arms, and one last pair of rubber bushes which were left after upgrade on front, were changed to black powerflex. for the rear axle, i've prepared some custom adjustable arms, made from aircraft aluminum (hexagon rod) and on car |

now brake system time
i'm working a lot with brakes last few years, so went further. for about a year i'm using brembo calipers with lug mounts - they are cheaper, but you can't use them on other cars (only little count configs where can). so, i'm correcting this lack and modify their mounts to radial type. it's not something new - people make this on different models, but i prefer to use most similar model to brembo gt caliper. this caliper almost the same as brembo gt, only bridge differs. all this modifications are cnc machined. caliper weight after mod - less then 3.3kg (7.25lbs) caliper before mod and after, when all work done (this yellow pair i've prepared for 1m) and, this red pair i've prepared for our 135 on e8x and e9x i usually prefer to use this caliper with 1m/m3 360mm rotor (two piece floating). it works excellent on any r18 wheels. installation on car brackets caliper installed and pads, endless ccr-g some overall view in next posts. |

our car was on AT from factory -not the best choice for track use.
we already thought about swap on dct last winter, but choose to try, how long automatic transmission lasts on track not so long, as we expected from it. gearbox survived only one trackday (7-8 15min sessions) in this season - pics in 1 an 2 post from there. and on the second track it shows us fault. so, dct time we had bought some swap kit from 335 - gearbox, flywheel, propeller shaft and differential. shifter was bought new, cause it's really hard to found it used in russia. dct gearbox propellershaft (already shortened and balanced) and shifter another problem - that we had bought wrong flywheel in this swap kit - our crankshaft had 6 bolt mounting pattern, and flywheel from 335 was with 8 bolt mounting. price for new flywheel not so nice, so i prefered to make some custom lightened flywheel. also cnc machined, from aircraft aluminum. starter ring used from old one, same about connection ring, where dct shaft's teeth located. on engine weight - 4.8kg. so, all fits fine, then wiring and coding was done. to be continued |

this "special tool" helped us alot. side skirts took about 2 hours. same about wheel housing covers for using 275mm front, but this took a lot more time. and even washer tank was modified from our stock 135, for 1m fenders |

slonik Does the front flare out more than the rear? or is it aligned right up with the rest of the car. Cause I know I've heard that if you do the front you have to do the rear also. Car looks awesome though my friend
