guys this system doesnot fit the 128i e88 as stated in their website. to make it fit youll need to remove the entire drives side stiffing brace mount(not recommended). beware of this prior to cutting up your mid pipe as it is costly (over 2100$) to replace and don't count on magna flow to foot the bill either.

Did you get the correct part number for a 128?...

Many people have used this system on their 128 with no issues, so something seems off here.

e82(sedan) the body stiffening runs from ahead of the rear sub frame towards the front center of the car. on e88 (convertible) models it runs from the outer rocker panels rearward to the rear of the diff with an additional mount to the body just at the turn up of the body slightly rearward of the resonator. hence the clearance problem.

I only see the E82 listed on the Magnaflow site, no convertible.
