Will this work? Seems to have a Giubo or Flex disc attached?

Wrong yoke needs flat 6 point circle

Are you looking for just a 3.73 or specifically 3.64?

Don't make the mistake I did and buy some not-as-inexpensive diff on ebay. Car-Part will have 3.73s for $100. Look at a "2008, automatic sedan 328i, carrier"

I tried searching yoke, would you mind explaining or pointing that out?

Is the yoke something that can be swapped out so-to-speak, with my own or another, or does it simply mean the diff is incompatible ?

I was specifically looking, or I should say, prefer to have a 3.64. I think that would be a better fit for my driving even though not much difference between it and the 3.73.

One of the reasons I was looking at this one was the supposed condition and mileage of car it came from... but more importantly, it looks like it had a flex disc or giubo attached.

On my car, the giubo is between the transmission and the driveshaft, not at the diff... thats why I asked in the post if its compatible

Do you have recommendations?

The yoke is the three prong flange fron the diff, that is attached to your guibo and then to the driveshaft. They may be interchangeable. Its attached by a single nut. The is then you have to fine the correct yoke, correct length/spline count, and then see if the nut fits. when attaching it there should be 15 in/lbs of preload on the bearings
