No kidding. I'm going to be getting a winter tire/wheel set, tint, matte grills, either painted FRP or carbon fiber spoiler, and possibly a side mirror retrofit pretty much within the first month or two of ownership. I'm also considering the performance side skirts and probably upgraded sway bars. My wife is going to hate me.

My car is on the vessel AIDA due to dock on the 3rd, but can't seem to find it on marinetraffic.com

The dealer says it would probably arrive at the dealer on the 7th, and then will take 7-10 days to get to my door in CA!

If anyone has some time to waste looking for better tracking of this ship, please do.

http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...esselSearch.do is what I have so far.

BTW, My JB3 was bought today

Starting to get the ball rolling. Dealer says best case it will be there friday, of course we need to wait for cert of origin, so looks like next wednesday is best case for me. But will certainly be stopping by to visit as soon as the truck arrives.

Took care of insurance tonight. Geico finally started writing in mass, and insuring both the mini and the 1 will cost barely more than what I'm paying amica right now for just the mini!

My boat is running late!! Was suppose to arrive in panama today, but looks like it will get there tomorrow. The waiting is getting more and more painful. I bet knowing your car is just an hour away is nearly unbearable!!

That's because you can only drive one car at a time so you're really only paying the difference between insuring one vs the other. For me to add my former Lotus Exige to my GEICO policy cost me $100 more every 6 months.

My car is now listed as being at the Prep Center awaiting a train to Spartanburg. It's not so exciting knowing that I have to wait another month while a lot of you guys will be getting your cars next week. Still, it's progress.

I will
So what's this MACO Fee my dealer is tagging on and Training fee and doc fee. Ridiculous 480 dollars in fees + 300 NJ state fee....
I'm pissed, but at least i get my car tomorrow. I've just got to find a nice insurance tonight.

Maco, Training, and document fees are standard fees in every BMW deal. I had those numbers included in my "invoice" price. Others, such as yourself presumably, do not and get surprised when the dealer asks for those fees when it's time to sign.

I had clearly asked my dealer when I was signing that are there any other fee's besides my DOC fee that i need to worry about? He said no. Now he's giving me an answer saying that he stated" I said that there may be other small nominal fees at the time of signing." I got it 500 above invoice, and hes also stating invoice of 135i is 32980? not the 32750 found on the BMW invoice sheet found online......
I'm not going to try to argue this now, I've been waiting since JULY and i really don't want any headaches over 700 dollars on a 45k car. It's just pissing me off.

That's kind of shady that your dealer did that. Both dealers I worked with gave me final "out-the-door" prices that included all the fees. I don't blame you for not fighting over a couple of hundred dollars, but I agree... it's the principle of the matter and that would piss me off also.
