Can't register 2010 vehicle in BMW USA.com

Looks like the boat to NYC is a straight shot with no other stops. It's the shortest trip on the W&W website. What luck we have! 11 days compared to 14 days for the next boat to the city. Arrives on Monday so we should have them by the end of next week (if all goes well).

yeah I don't think our VINs work for tracking but we already know the boat name and the itinerary so there's really no need for further data.

Heard from the dealer... turns out I am on the Don Juan EQ937 not the Don Pasquale. Sadly no one seems to have tracking info for it.

has the ship just off-shore Mass. ETA is 9/21/09 0500 in NYC. This website is pretty cool, esp when your ship is in range. Right now mine is in the middle of the Atlantic making it's way to Panama...ETA 10/7! ahh...when is your scheduled delivery date?

I wonder if the cars will have to sit in port for a while waiting to clear customs? My brother-in-law's 328i took 3 weeks to clear customs earlier this year, but that was mainly due to some kind of work-stoppage at the port.

I take back what I said earlier. My CA told me to add the car to my insurance beginning Wednesday and will likely have the car by Friday. It could also be early next week but it looks good for this week. Not getting my hopes up too high.

DAMNIT! I am so tempted to cancel the PCD and have my car transferred to my dealer so I can get it sooner. I don't know how I'm going to make it another month while you all are driving around in your cars already.

Did your boat dock today? Wasn't it due in port today? Mine is supposed to arrive on the 24th, but I haven't been able to track it.

yup. docked today! I also think you'd have a VERY hard time canceling the PCD at this point.
