Here are the pics from our road trip to Belgium. We stopped at several WWI memorials, one being the Flanders American Cemetery. The end goal was to go to the Abbey St. Sixtus of Westvleteren. Good thing we brought my buddies VW Golf to haul 13 of the 15 cases of beer we bought.

wow...thinking of heading west over Thanksgiving weekend (if duty does not call).
Looks like we have to go there. Where did you stay....what route/sites did you see? Imagine how many cases I could fit in the P!G

Quick question man the side airbag cover on the outside bolsters of your seats, is the plastic cover black or does it match the seat? A member posted a pic of a 2013 135is and the plastic cover was red like the seat. But this week when the dealer sent me pics of my 2013 it had the black side airbag covers so I was just wondering how your 2013 looked. The one I saw the pic of that matched was a cabrio. I don't know if maybe its different on the verts or not. Just curious what yours were like though. I pick up my car next week in spain and will try to compare on a few more n person. It's hard to find a 135i at a dealer in the states. I've been to 3 lol. Just wanted to see one up close as I ordered in Korea and have never even test drove one. Suspense is killing me.

I attached a picture that shows the only black on the seats... I really enjoy the red but wish there was a bit more black throughout. I am thinking that i will change that up a little bit later to have the bolsters blacked out then put some black stitching in the head rests or something like that. Thats down the road.
As fast as the belgium trip we left from Wiesbaden and headed out through the NL, stopping in Aachen, DE for gas. Our first stop was Gent for the first beer warehouse. Not our favorite one to hit but we had not been there before so we checked it out. Close by was Flanders Field American Cemetery. After that we went and stayed in the town of Ypres at some random hotel. The church in the pictures above was a stones throw away. I can get all the addresses and what not if you need them, but ill have to hit up my buddy later for that. |

^^ LOVE that pic man! Such a great road trip right in "our" back yard! I also like that shot of your car parked at night with the DOM(Cathedral) in the background. Maybe you guys need to come over to Bamberg, the bier capitol of the world! I could show you guys this cool old beer museum in Bayreuth (Maisel‘s Brauerei) and then we could do anover night in "little Swiss" aka "Fränkische Schweiz". There is lots to see over here!! Driving tour thru the "Fränkische Schweiz" German state park... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...highlight=beer German Beer Museum... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...highlight=beer We attend the lovely Weyermann Malzfabrik classic car show http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...highlight=beer
