Just got my PE put on. IMO it does not stick out anymore than stock. I think it just looks that way because it's not black. However. I do think a CF diffuse will complement the PE because of the lip around the exhaust opening. It will be the next thing i get for my car.

Any muffler shop can grind it down. Just mark it and grind it down (basically a huge sand paper on a conveyor belt). Give it a little angle too. Will look real nice.

From the pic... it looks fine to me. tips are suppose to be flush with the leading straight edge of the bumper. not under it. otherwise you will have buildup on there more. if you stand behind the car, and look straight down, and the tips are further than the bumper edge, then they are a little too far. Just have an exhaust shop shorten it a little for you ...
