Oil level question.

So obviously we all know there is no dipstick to check level which isn't a big deal. So only was to see without draining it all is to use the BC button to see the digital readout. Mine is at Max still and i just wanted to know if it went down to the middle or 3/4 mark. How much oil would i need to add. to get it back to max? Just a rough estimate. Engine requires 6.9 quarts. So i'm assuming if the gauge read half. I would need to ass 3.4 quarts and at 3/4 read it would need 1.7?

Anyways might be a stupid or no brainer question hahaha

If it reads half, you put in half a quart.

Yeah Typically if it gets low enough you'll get a message like "Add one quart"

Thanks for the replies. Just wanted to know exactly how to read it correctly. Guess they made it easy to know since it will say how much to add.
