Oil level sensor stopped working at track
Ok, I have an 08 128 obviously with the N52 (55K miles). Air temp approx 60 degrees, humid & rain in afternoon. Three or four times while on track I wanted to see my oil level but got no reading whatsoever. Engine should have been up to normal temp. When on drive home, sensor worked properly. Intermittent issue for sure, will see if it happens again next year.

What track are you on that you have time to pull up the oil level sensor?

http://www.calabogiemotorsports.com/ Not a lot of people on the track b/c of forecast of rain and thundershowers. Lots of straights and most likely looking for reading, hence up to temp on my warm up lap. |

It's not gonna give you a reading under significant load, same thing happens if I don't wait for it to measure before a session.
