Good question.

I did my research.
When you look at the Hartge website, they can fit a 18 x 8.5 Et40 @ front.

My BBS RS-GT is 18 x 8 ET35 @ front which will give 11mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT 1mm compare to the Hartge.

The rear...If Hartge can fit a 19 x 9 ET46 @ rear, I don't see any problem why you cannot fit my 18 x 9 ET45 @rear.

Hope this helps

Nice one WAY, I haven't fitted them yet!
Tyres are on the rims but had the parents over from interstate for the weekend, so haven't got around to putting on the car.
Will have done by end of this weekend, so will post some pictures once fitted, oh and maybe wash to car too!

Not really for sale, more free to good home

Hey all,

It is becoming more and more apparent that I will not be getting a 135 now

So, I have a 1Addicts sticker (first batch) that can go to a good home. Free postage. First to PM me (local to Aus) can have it. :w00t: Goooone...

That should make the dodgy/dodgey confusion a non issue now..

Guys, I'm going to change for the BMW performance brakes, just so I can get the swanky yellow color and the discs So someone can have my 135 brakes which I'm positive fit the 125?

$2k includes everything - 1000kms on the car

Bargain Price! The BMW Perf kit is $2058 USD plus gst, import tax and the freight which I think is well over $500 due to weight (sending 4 discs plus 4 large calipers)

kris, did you get a quote on the installation for the brakes? more power to you if you have, but that's what changed my mind even after justifying the price of the kit to myself!

I don't understand why you would go for BMW brakes if you are going to go to all that effort. AP Racing or Porsche Bid Red for the win!

kris, i was told that a "full program" must be performed before the brakes are installed which is why it would cost almost $900. if you can install yourself that would seem like a load of :bs: ?

Full program? What do you mean? The brakes are mechanical... the computer won't give two hoots

Don't believe everything you are told  I'm sure most dealers like to spin the shit a bit to make $

I'm not aware of new lines, but potentially. Given the calipers are the same from all I can determine there won't be any increased pressure along the standard lines. I guess using a braided line would firm the pedal up if you're completely anal

professor: you can brake lines extremely cheap seperately, they are a brembo caliper so I'd say plenty of places would have them or could make them. Best to discuss offline and not clutter this thread

I don't know about the brake lines. I've got a BMW dealer brochure (aftersales) about the performance stuff, and it says nothing about brake lines, or the calipers being any different apart from the paint. The only real point of difference is the drilled/slotted rotors.
See crappy pic:

And that being the case, you can easily fit yourself!

Andrew from Southern BM confirmed that the calipers are the same as they have the same product number. However I have read that the pads have different product number as does the disks obviously.
