Here's my exhaust video, i still have the exhaust leak but i doubt it affects the exhaust sound, if it does i'll retake another one. highest rpm was about 5500, didn't want to go to 7k since i need an oil change. As always the video doesn't truly capture it, but its close. 5-7k it has a really classic bmw raspy note that i personally love, it reminds me of the e36's. The exhaust pops are quite loud, you can hear a few on the video.

@mapleridge catless exhaust manifold, 135i axleback with resonator delete.

Just delete the muffler...that's all you need...sound is fantastic....a little mild gurgling on deceleration which sounds very racy...

Closed the exhaust flap tonight.. most of the low rpm rasp and all of the drone is gone thankfully. I lost some exhaust pops with it but i can live with that.. I don't need to be attracting anymore attention than a bright blue car already does

I enjoy the whole different approach, but I will say the dual tips (in my opinion look best). But quick question do you need a muffler to pass emissions? I was under the impressions that as long as the cats are there and the readings are straight we would be fine, but I wanted to see if any of you guys know first hand

Muffler doesn't affect emissions, only sound regulations. I know *legally* in NYS we need to have mufflers, though i never had a problem with my muffler delete nor do most people on various makes and models.

They are a PITA to work with (at least for me).

Took 3 times of getting the car up on jackstands to fix the tips. I guess this is the price I pay for a loud car

No, they're solid...I love Eisenmann but they were very tough to get even and level on both sides...the sound was worth it though...

Found this sweet dual tip on ebay...gonna put it on the 128 if it ever gets here from Hong Kong....think it's genuine Remus?

Mufflers don't reduce emissions....and Florida doesn't check emissions....you see, we have these nice off-shore breezes that blow the HC's and smog over to Mexico and Texas...

Eisenmann from Eisenhaus?

Those tips look like Ramus brand.

That's a full Eisenmann polished, stainless cat-back exhaust on the M roadster. The M came with stainless headers and big free-flowing cats.

The Remus dual tip is for the 128, it's from Hong Kong...it's most definitely a fake, but it looks cool.....

Did you buy the Eisenmann from Eisenhaus was the question.

And yes, I'm aware the tips are a Chinese knockoff, hence the "Ramus" joke. Much like Romex to Rolex.

No worries, I was just remembering the huge scandal over Eisenhaus in the US, which was the primary Eisenmann US dealer, selling their own knockoffs of Eisenmann exhausts as true Eisenmann products.
