Windows Screen Mod

Hey guys,

someone with a cadillac cs suggested to tie in a self-cut piece of window screen to the back of the front grille with fishing line, to avoid bugs that go right into the radiator fins...

any thoughts on it? I drive in the highway a lot and have a myriad of bug carcasses stamped all over my car all the time and have been thinking about going through with this...

That sounds like a good idea, just make sure you flush it out once a week or so with a hose, or it could restrict air-flow through the radiator.

yep.
what should I do with the poor suckers already forming part of my radiator?

forcing a pressure washer into there does not sound good to me...

You could find it does restrict air-flow to the engine bay, which may have undesired consequences.

Just leave 'em. They will eventually decay away.
