Shadowline surround with chrome slats?

I was just wondering if anyone has done this on their 1er, particularly on a black car. I've seen this on a few e92s, and now BMW seems to have copied the idea onto their 335IS. ( See here: http://www.bimmerfile.com/wp-content...estoril_10.jpg )

So has anyone done it? I'm considering it and I'd love to see pictures before I do.
