Anyone have good results with a hi-flow catted DP for an N55...? Did it throw any codes?

You won't pass a sniffer test with a hiflow cat. Why do you want one?

can the dealer detect the DP fix or would I have to uninstall every time I bring it in?

There is no DP fix for the N55. JB4 is your best bet, might as well go ISO at this point, and then just activate Auto Clear, or clear the codes yourself. The Dealership can tell if you have any kind of aftermarket DP, catted or not.

Well I can't speak on behalf of catted DP's, but I have the AR Catless and it throws a code at least every other day, but I have auto clear on, so I never see them.
If you are in good with them, they should understand that, but then again, it's all what you feel like chancing. I am in very good with my dealer here in Germany, they love the sound of the car, but I am sure if it messed something up, and it was my fault, I'd most likely pay for it.

I've been looking for the answer to this too. I want a catted down pipes with the soul intention to not throw any codes. I do not want to have to do a piggy back tune or anything else. My dealer is just fine with bolt-ons, but doing anything that throws CEL codes or anything software related is a no-go.

Don't be fooled, catless smells and smokes like crazy and not in a good way. JB4's, COBB, they all auto clear the CEL so you'll never know its on.

I have a catted Vishnu DP on my n55...and without the can-tool from BGS it'll throw a cell.....when I was researching I found that all of them will throw a cel eventually.

Mine always did, even after a few thousand miles. Not sure though, maybe after 10K+ miles it might be different.
