I have a 2009 128i with the REST button on the right-hand knob. Is there any way to tie the driver/passenger temperature settings together on my car, in the way that the ALL button does on later models?

I really wish I could trade the MAX button for the rest function.

Off?
How do you turn it off entirely?
When it's cold out it blows cold air on you until the engine warms up? Also, is there a way to just select "ambient" outside air? Sometimes it's pleasant and you don't need heat or AC. |

I posted this before on another thread - when I have the "auto" on, I still have to adjust the fan speed - is that normal? Shouldn't "auto" figure it TF out??? Is this a hidden setting??

You turn it off entirely by turning the fan down switch all the way. If you hit recirc, then no air will come thru.

Living in Florida, I wish I could trade the REST button for the ALL button.
