Hey guys I solved the problem, all you have to do is spread the little metal pieces outward. If anybody wants a pic let me know.

Hey this sounds pretty cool. Was this for your interior lights to make them whiter?

I think he used an LED swap out kit, you can generally get the blubs off ebay for a few $ or go for a pre-arranged kit around $50-$100 varies by vendor.

Also true, but I don't think the 10 bulb kit covers every single bulb in your interior does it? Hence the glove box, trunk, and door handles.

However, It sounds like a great solution for anyone who wants a 100% sure and safe retrofit kit

Hey guys, I bought the 8 led kit from ijdmtoy.com for 35.99, there are a couple choices of colours like xenon white, ultra blue and ultra red. I choose the ultra blue. I will take some photos tomorrow and post them up. For 35.99 you cant go wrong. There are worth every penny. There replace the footwell, the dome lights and the reading lights.

If you guys have any questions give me a shout.

Indeed you can.... JDMtoy shows up on google as the first few, I bought the full kit from them and had errors on my dome lights, they were flickering from time to time and didn't seem to stay on while driving. They're also not as bright as they should be. I would return them ASAP, but that's just from my experience. They might have come up with an actual compatible kit for our cars over the past few months, you can always give them a try yourself.

Its good to have input from both sides. So far I have had no problem with them, and for me the brightness isnt really an issue because i went with ultra blue instead of xenon white because I wanted a different look. Ive also bought a pair of 48 LED license plate lights from them over a year ago and to this day ive never had an issue with them plus there super bright. Anyways I appreciate the honesty, and if there issues I will return them or ask for a refund.

P.S. I will post up pics tomorrow.
