So even though I requested leave, and got the o.k., it seems I have been given weekend duty. And to top it off, even if I could have someone cover it, we already have 10% (the allowed limit) of our shop on leave starting friday.

Beyond pissed right now. I have been waiting on this for a LONG time and Monday is my birthday.

dack - from now on, please don't change the numbers on the participant list. if someone drops out, just leave this space empty and add new ones on the bottom. we need to be able to have a certain number for every participant.

No, I'm going to have to hit the road after the show. My GF has to work Monday so we'll need to get back to Wiesbaden. But we will be attending the Saturday night pre-meet at the biergarten.

Damm that sucks man. I've been there. When somebody drops the ball managing the schedule and doubled booked everybody's leave. I've had to cancel leave because Amn So and So "already bought tickets to the states."

Are you going to make Stelvio?

No. The Welt 4.0 Team Orga will be at a very nice biergarten called: Gut Keferloh. It looks very nice and they have already "tested" the bier out last month.

S0... I think it would be nice if we could join them there.
They will be at the Biergarten from 17:00 until 23:00. I think we will probably get there around 18:00 - I am not sure what time everyone will be at the Motel-One by. ? Any thoughts?

I hope I can make Stelvio. It's all messed up here. I am the 3rd highest ranking in our section and can't even get access to our manning and leave document! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

We'll be there Friday afternoon so any time Saturday afternoon/evening is good with me. Looking forward to it!

@HondaGoneRogue I have been thinking of maybe organizing a Fränkische Schweiz (little Swiss) driving tour this summer. With an over night stay of one or two nights. There are so many good roads there and such nice natural beauty there in the German National Park.

For those of you that don't know... Fränkische Schweiz is the area between Bamberg > Bayreuth > Nurenberg

well if they already call it fränkische schweiz, then its probably cus the scenery is just as beautiful as in real switzerland so then why not just drive a tiny bit further to the most amazing mountain roads in switzerland??

Germany is a heck of a lot cheaper than Switzerland. And we're already planning a trip to the Alps (Stelvio 2.0). Just sayin...

Where are you guys staying at?


The Team Orga guys will be using this car wash from noon until 16:00 on Saturday. It is nicer than the place we used past year(posted bellow). The problem is Munich has so few self service car wash places. Most people just go to a gas station and let the "machine" wash their cars.

I dont have a place to stay yet.

There are a few places I saw in Garching that are close to where you all are staying. They arent bad but for the same price as those places (79ish euro) I can stay at the Sheraton by the airport and add to my frequent stay points account with them.

No place to stay yet? You need to get on it. It's going to be tough finding a place with the soccer game going on. Oreo and I tried to find a place near downtown that had decent parking and it wasn't happening. Two of us will be staying at the Hotel Konig Ludwig II in Garching, maybe they still have some rooms.
