bluetooth problems..

so problem 1: when i connect the bluetooth and the OFFICE is enabled after streaming for 40 seconds you hear a high pitched noise then bluetooth disconnects and also it happens to delete ALL my other devices saved... when i dont enable OFFICE it is fine. HELP as i cannot find any other threads with this and its driving me nuts as i do like to have the helpful glimpse of email and messages recieved. Also using the CIC system.

problem 2: Spotify meta data is not being sent across and it only displays various artists and bluetooth.. ughh

using samsung S7 it was working fine with the HTC m8 is my S7 bluetooth too new?

I had MAJOR Bluetooth issues getting my car to connect to some devices. After countless complaints to the dealer and working with them they finally said that there was a software update that they were able to do to the car. This resolved it.

its been a little while but this looks like the site that they sent me to and put in my VIN to find out what the latest software build was.

"You can perform this software update yourself. To do so, all you need is a standard USB memory stick with sufficient memory capacity. If required, your BMW Dealer will also have a USB memory stick for you to purchase. To perform this software update, you will require the USB audio interface (included in optional equipment codes 6FL, 6NH, 6NK, 6NL, 6NS or 6NR) as well as the Control Display and iDrive. Your vehicle can be updated provided that you have the ‘Software update’ option on your ‘Settings’ menu in the Control Display."

just an update: downloaded the update and plugged the usb to the center console port (not the glove box) and its worked now meta data and office stuff is fully functional again with my s7 and other modern phones.
