Best Names for Custom Plates for 135I?

Seems like everyone here drives American Made Steel. If you are old you drive a Buick. If you are young it's a Chevy, Dodge, Ford thing. All big ole V8's.

So I picked "V8 ETR" for my plates. Really antagonizes them. But I have a personal rule about racing on public streets so when one of them call's me out I try and flag them over somewhere and have a bit of car talk and then hand them a club racing card to see if they might want to head off for a weekend of 'driving' school' to fill their need for speed.

Made a lot of good friends that way down in Atlanta - without the vanity plates. So I'll see how it goes up here.

Just meaningless license plate bravado there. Understand not wanting to race on the street but taunting like that reminds me of children at the zoo teasing the tigers that cant get at em behind the bars. Not too many people dropping what they're doing in their lives to meet you at a track somewhere. There are tons of V8 powered cars out there ready to chew up and spit out an 135. Sporting it out on a tag doesnt make it fact, just kind of silly. It doesn't antagonize me me, it makes me laugh. Thats the kind of plate you normally see on a beat up 92 Sentra with a fart can and all the normal ricer look at me crap.

I own both a 135i and a C6 Corvette S/C with 620bhp.
So I wonder in which of your personal age categories I would fall under.

I got my initials as my vanity plate, but it's something I've always wanted to do. So my advice would be to get something that means something to you. But putting AV8 ETR or somthing like that is just asking for trouble.

So I guess you missed the point on many levels. Sorry I miscommunicated.

1) It is a lighthearted intent. At least I don't think anyone is thinking the statement on the plate could be intended to be categorically true and a life changing all-out challenge.
2) I wouldn't categorize those I've shared the road with as wild animals incapable of having a bit of lighthearted fun. Most seem to understand that the plate means I like the thrill of performance rather than having bought my car for its safety features.
3) The offer to meet up at a track as part of an organized group to have some safe, controlled and beneficial fun is made AFTER they stop to talk. I guess those would be the ones that actually DID drop what they were doing to get a chance to talk to someone else who seems to be an enthusiast as well.
4) And there were actually quite a few who did stop and talk. In Atlanta it was triggered merely by having a few mods and some sponsor decals on a car. Adding the plate is just a whimsical addition. Many I got a chance to talk with became good driving school friends and the resulting increases in registrations for some of my favorite driving, safety, performance and club track events was rewarding. In fact I join up with a few of them when on business trips in Atlanta every so often.

And as a side bar - there have been a heck of a lot of those 'normal ricers' that heve eaten those big 600+hp heavy metal thunders for lunch for one simple reason - they were excellent drivers and the Goliaths were not. That's what makes the track such a fun place. The weakest link is typically the nut behind the wheel.

Luckily not everyone driving around in a in a fast car (or one they believe to be fast) is a wild animal just waiting to rip someone's face off at little or no provocation - like your wild tiger analogy.

And the word bravado isn't event in my vocabulary - but you would not know that unless you knew me.

You can have any personal plate obviously, I'm just giving my opinion of it and likely many others. But its all cool.

Side note- My "big heavy 600+hp heavy metal thunder" comes in at about 150lbs less than our 135's. With twice the hp/tq. You being a racer understand weight:hp ratio.

I swear, every meet I've attended, someone has an iteration of this plate. Its always from a different state too so its not always the same car.

That means, someone, copied someone with a BMW somewhere, with this plate.

I can tell you from personal experience that in MD, 'BMW135I' is taken. My daughter says that would define a tool, but I don't subscribe to that generalization.

One that I thought was interesting is '6INAROW'.
