Semi random brake squeaking
Recently I've noticed some more brake squeaking. Particularly after doing one run of driving.
To my eyes, the pads seem to have plenty of material left when looking at them. I haven't taken off the wheels to inspect but just from peering in, they don't look really thin. And they were replaced probably about 10-12k miles ago. (Doesn't mean they couldn't be due though, I have been pretty hard on them here and there) What could be causing them to squeak? I've almost always had low speed squeaking here and there. The first few rotations of the hub while braking cause some squeaks pretty frequently. But now it *seems* more common (might be just noticing it more). Curious if anyone knows. Don't like being the guy with squeaky brakes. |
