Removal of rear diffuser and exterior door pillar covers M sport e87
Hi all,
I would like to ask whether I have to take off the rear bumper to remove the diffuser on my 120d M-sport e87? if not could someone who has done it before give me some quick guides as to how i go about removing it? also how do i remove the exterior door pillar covers? is just a case of sliding them off? (see pics) thanks in advance!! |

idk if hatchback parts fit differently than coupe parts, but the diffuser on my car is pretty easy to take off. done it plenty of times. one screw at each bottom corner, right behind the rear wheel, then the rest is just friction clips (read: just pull it off....carefully)
no idea about the pillar covers, but i would guess they're just clips too since i've never seen any obvious screws

wow... a maltese member! i'm in malta all the time (i have a place in pozzallo, so whenever i'm there i'll usually hop on the hydrofoil to spend a night or two at the dragonara). do you have many enthusiasts in malta? i always see super-old merc diesels and shiny new bentleys (and rarely much in between). |

Looks like just a few screws to take of the rear bump tray. No need to remove the bumper.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...85&hg=51&fg=17 I'm not sure about the B pillar trim. Perhaps some sort of clips hold it in place. Looks like it. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...14&hg=51&fg=20 Dack |
