2011 BMW 135i Won’t Rev With Brakes Applied
2011 BMW 135i Msport- 85k miles
N55 E88 Pure Stage 2 Turbo MHD Custom Tune Long Build List So ever since I’ve had this car I noticed that it will not rev up past 1000 rpm when the brake is applied. Have tried doing it with DSC turned all the way off and it does the same thing. Seems that others don’t have this same issue which is why I’m asking. Does anyone know what the cause could be? I’d like to be able to brake boost. Launch control works but sending it at 5k is out of the picture. |

This is a pretty common safety feature these days to prevent people from accidentally accelerating when they meant to hit the brakes.
I think there's a thread in the track section about disabling it for better left foot braking, but haven't checked in to see if there was a solution there. |
