Trunk pop up?

Hi

Just wondering is there possibility to make by pressing open/trunk button that it would pop fully up?

Otherwise why do we need inside of the car open/trunk button and same button on the keyfob?

This is the first coupe/sedan I have ever had on the high end level that didn't have a boot lid that lifts it's self.

I am confused also to why they add a button that opens the trunk but you still have to lift it? You would probably need some other mechanism (motor) to slowly lift it since they do pop up fast. Having it shoot up without a stopper wouldn't be good.

Custom mod? I have never seen BMW coupe/sedans have this auto trunk feature besides the X series

For instance my wife's VW CC's lid just opens slowly with the aid of the shocks. Our Jag and a few other cars we have owned have been the same way. No motor or anything.

Hmmm yea it would be a great little mod to build and sell! I am sure BMW has something for it though. Maybe not though...

Would be awesome to incorporate the button on the key-flob too so when you have groceries auto open
