Suspension Refresh
So I decided its time to start refreshing the suspension on my car and I'm compiling parts to get everything done at once. Here's a list of the parts I have or am going to be ordering and wanted to know if there's anything else that needs to or should be replaced/upgraded that I'm missing? Or anything I should rethink/leave alone?
What I have so far: ST XTA coilovers M3 control arms front and rear Hotchkis front sway bar Condor Speedshop rear subframe and diff bushings Condor Speedshop adjustable toe arms ECS trailing arms and bushings Inner and outer rear camber bearings I'll also be adding a Mason Engineering stut brace at some point down the road. Any input on this is appreciated. ETA: This is my summer daily that will mostly see the street with an occasional auto cross/track day here and there. Increased NVH doesn't bother me much but it is still my daily so I don't want to go overboard with it.

If you care about comfort/noise/NVH at all, avoid the condor diff bushings, from what I've read they add a ton of noise/vibration to the cabin. Get something poly if you're set on replacing them

Good point l, I'll probably end up going with PowerFlex poly diff bushings since this is my summer daily. I'm mainly worried about getting everything done that needs to be while the rear subframe is out or at least dropped down. I've been doing some more research and made a few more changes to the parts list. I'll still use the ST coilovers, M3 arms, and Hotchkis front sway. The new list is:
Rogue Engineering toe arms Revshift trailing arms w/ PF bushings Revshift RSFB PowerFlex poly diff bushings BimmerWorld camber bearing kit BMS diff brace Is there anything I'm missing on the RSF that is easier to do while its already out of position? |
