Awful squealing after installing StopTech Drilled/Slotted rotors and Textar OEM pads

Squealing when moderate braking is applied. Has been the case for close to 500 miles now. I had euro shop install, so I'm not sure if they lubricated everything properly, but I'm pulling wheels next weekend to inspect and spraying CRC De-Squeak. Is this possibly an incompatible pad/rotor combo? Been thinking about replacing pads with EBC Redstuff or StopTech 308. At this point I'll buy ANY pad that can give me OEM or similar braking as long as it doesn't squeal like crazy!

Did you bed the pads? Brake hard but don't engage ABS from 60mph - 5mph about five times, then drive for a minute and repeat. If they're still noisy then you know there's an actual issue

After about 100 miles, I bedded them in and there was no difference.

Gotcha. I'd go back and talk with the shop who did the work. As long as the pads and rotors are OEM replacements they shouldn't make noise. Should you want to make a switch I enjoyed EBC reds for daily driving/canyon fun

Strange you would get noise with stock Textar pads. Makes me suspect lack of proper lube at install. EBC Redstuff are a great street pad, no dust, no noise, just not for track use.

Mine did the same thing when I first bought my car. Took it apart and lubed it myself. Then took it to 2 different shops, they all said that they were in perfect new condition and were oem and they re-lubed everything each time and still horrific embarrassing squeals. Went to red stuff and quiet ever since. Of course I'm on my 2nd set now as they wear out fast. But still quiet as can be

Have to agree with EBC red assessment here!
