Help! Car won't start
Hi,
My car ran out of battery a week ago. I didn't have time to replace it until this morning. The car had ZERO electricity to the point that I could not open the trunk. I hooked the car up to a separate battery and opened the trunk. I popped in the new battery, connected everything to the new battery. All electronics are working. Clock was reset. Windows do not go down when opening the door (haven't tried nor do I know how to reset it). When the big moment came, nothing...happened. It didn't start. The car was cranking and I'd like to believe that I can have the car cranking for as long as I would like but it wouldn't start. Yes, I've also tried having the car hooked up to another car for at least 10 minutes. What else can I do? (Yes, I have gas. I am stepping on the brake pedal hard. I also tightened everything I need to have tightened.) EDIT: FIXED! I decided fix the windows and set the clock and date. After doing all that, I went and tried to start it and it ran. It turns out the fuel pump just needed priming. Last edited by PopsnBurbles; 03-09-2019 at 02:45 PM.. Reason: PROBLEM SOLVED |
