Sure would be nice to see a few 1 series at this event. I was pretty excited earlier this week to finally see another 135 on the road, an AW convertible on NE 85th St coming into Redmond. Pretty sure that was the first sighting for me this year... a few 128s here and there, but not a 135.
Not that there's anything wrong with the 128... speaking of which, I should post a new thread to explain that. |

For those who are attending, when are you thinking of rolling in? Trying to gather some of my own friends and we're thinking of showing up sometime after 12:30.

For those looking for an early season BMW meet to take their Bimmer, the Puget Sound BMW Club will be having their 2nd Annual Burgers & BMWs event at the Triple-X Drive In in Issaquah, WA.
Free to attend, we had around 170 BMWs in attendance last year. Weather this weekend looks great! This is the most eclectic showing of BMWs you'll see in the area. Very low key, just wash the car, clean the wheels and show up. Full info about Burgers & BMWs at this link: http://www.bmwpugetsound.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=45564 And some pics from Ron Standley of the 2010 event, to wet your appetite: http://www.ronstandley.com/p95580501...2695#h3fa52695 __________________

All these meets are always so early in the morning. I don't get off work untill 12:30 then I'd have to drive all the way south, otherwise I'd go.
I'm pretty much the only modded 135i up north I think. Would be nice to see how some of your cars are doing nowadays. Last edited by pnguyen1028; 06-03-2011 at 02:44 PM.. |

Turns out I won't be at this event. Got a last minute opportunity for a drive up north that I can't pass up. Might be able to catch the tail end from 3-4, but not sure at this point.

Pretty good turn out of BMW's. There were only a total of three other 1 series there when i left a little before noon. It was nice to meet some other 1ers. I didn't take any good photos so someone else is gonna have to post them.

My car was one if the three 135s there. My car was parallel parked by the back of the lot. I saw some great cars, and now have an appetite for a Z4M coupe!! Everyone was really friendly too. What a great day!!!

So that was you...we were wondering who owned that one. I was there from about 10:30 to 11:45, hanging out with vv1803. Great turnout, nice to meet two other 1 owners.
