Lakers vs. Celtics would finally be an NBA finals worth watching since Detroit beat LA with their 4 hall of famers...if only for the LA vs. Boston 80s retro rivalry =P

Being a moderator, I'm supposed to stay objective and not choose any "sides", so I'm sticking to that. Great game!

I dn't know what you're insinuating.

Do you mind removing that 'Boston' from your sig? It's already pretty telling that you're a Celts fanboi.

Boston could be in a world of hurt, if Pierce is down and out. That's the big topic in town today over on the right coast.

The game was lost when LA missed 7 shots or so in a row late in the 4th. Those are the shots they will make in LA...it was a closer game than the final score would suggest...if LA wins game 2, they will probably win the series.

I have never liked the Lakers, but for some reason, this season is different, maybe Kobe has matured, or maybe its less that I am a Laker fan and more the fact that there are some teams I really dont like (SA, Detroit...and Boston)

I cant stand the fact that people are giving Kobe Bryant props for maturing at age 30. Thats absurd, he acts like a whiney spoiled brat until he is into his 30s and people act like thats normal, give me a break. If I acted like he did when he was 25 I would be out on the street, just cuz he is good at basketball doesnt give him the right to behave like a 3 year old.

Yeah, I agree, I mean he basically chased out Shaq, then Phil (seriously, how can you basically fire a coach who won 9 championships?? They were lucky to get Phil back)...and then he was demanding trades because the Lakers were getting swept out of the playoffs in the first round or missing them all together...that was pretty much his own doing.

I never liked Kobe because of his attitude, then the whole rape accusation thing really ruined his character...

Im not giving him props for maturing or anything, just saying he seems different now than before...I guess I just dislike KG, Cheap Shot Bob, and some others more than I dislike Kobe...this is the first time I am rooting for the Lakers since they had Cedric Ceballos lol...

I don't know, I liked him in Minnesota, and rooted for him in the playoffs...when they got beat by the Lakers in the Western Conference finals...but what started to annoy me were some clips of KG pounding his chest with one fist...it just brought back some bad memories of the cave man Noah from Florida during March Madness....plus Boston basically threw their games down the stretch of last season to try and get Odom or Durant, but the lottery stoped that, and they used their pick to get Ray Allen...and the Sam Cassell deal...it just all adds up after awhile...since I dont like Boston in general, I tend to not like their players as well...I think I would have liked KG if he went to the Suns though haha

WOW!!! I didnt notice that , maybe I should remove it temporarily for 2 weeks.

Celts were 2.5-3.0 favorites in game 1, game 2 has a 1 point spread. I think we are coming home with an even series.

Its tough to beat a team when you play 5 vs. 8 =P Boston had 38 freethrows to LAs 10...

I can see why Boston didn't win a road game at all during the first two rounds of the playoffs, and have only won a total of 2 road playoff games so far...I wouldn't be surprised at all if they dropped 3 in a row in LA
