Blegh(128i vs Lexus CT200h)
This has to be the worst comparison/video i have ever seen. Completely different cars for different markets.

LOL
lexus made that ad and they still peppered it with compliments about the 128i (fastest 0-60 in the segment comment, etc) "CT also has a sporty driving feel" no "performance is more than 0-60" yeah that's why the bmw has a suspension upgrade that kicks the lexus' suspensions ass around the track. also FWD vs RWD. seriously? "the CT seats are a whole lot more comfortable" haven't sat in a lexus seat more comfy than the BMW sports seats. my sister is a lexus person and i've been in and driven her cars a lot. granted i've never been in the top of the line lexus models, but i'm sure the seats in the CT are as good as (or worse, since it's priced lower) than the seats in her current IS model, and those aren't as nice So all in all it looks like a whole bunch of baloney

in the beginning I was a bit confused on how this was a Lexus avert
You would think Honda CR-Z as a better comparison against the CT I assume the 128i is the only other economic luxury brand vehicle in that price bracket |

Seriously, it's aimed at women.

I actually entertained the idea of buying a new CT200h instead of a used 135i after seeing those weird Lexus ads showing the car driving a roller coaster like city.
Spent about 20 minutes on the lexus site before I realized it was not the car for me. |

Hey a lot more bang for your buck in the lexus... If I wanted a sporty fun car it would not be a 128i.... Or track either one of those cars... Those cars are comfortable DD...

Looking at this completely objectively, the CT and the 1-series are NOT competitors and I would absolutely be shocked to find out that actual CT and 1-series buyers cross-shopped the other vehicle. Talk about an apples-to-oranges comparison...the cars are completely different in their configuration (FWD/RWD, 5-door/2-door, hybrid/non-hybrid, comfort-oriented/performance-oriented...and the list goes on) and speak to different buyers. Sorry, I'm never going to be sold on the Toyota/Lexus hybrids. I've driven them and they all suck...and this was well before I ever owned a BMW.
