I guess they might as well. The BMWs of today bear little resemblance to the BMWs I idolized, save the M2C. I'll gladly hold on to my 1 series and my Roundel as long as it's possible.

Isn't that the logo for the electric and hybrid cars?

This is a possibility because not all design ideas on a concept car make it to the final production car, as we all know.

Like the upcoming i4 and M3/M4, the new roundel looks ass.

This is the stuff that keeps me up at night, and gives me nightmares. I don't care who has a bigger button, or if I should be concerned about a cough. That is a trivial compared to this
How can somebody take something so sacred and bangle, I mean bungle it. Tonight may be a Xanax night. Just the thought of it gives me the chills and a fever. How could they do this? I am heartbroken, and falling into a deep depression not unlike the funk I went into when they stopped production of the Aztec. Fortunately, it wasn't long after that BMW brought out their version of the Aztec and I felt all was good in the world. Ford is bringing back the Bronco, GM is bringing Hummer back. If we are lucky GM will bring back the Aztek because I cannot think of a better match for that badge than on the grill of an Aztek.

I guess why not make an unattractive logo to go along with ugly (to me) cars.

It's essentially the 1963 logo, less a couple of concentric circles.
