real coral red pic

Just took delivery of my 09 128, photoshop manipulated pic to shown what Coral Red really looks like (depending on daylight and your monitor calibration). In most pics I have seen it is too orange.

I like the piano black trim so much I won't change it to glacier aluminum as planned.

THANK YOU for posting this you are right in the other pictures it does look orange. I went for the Piano Black as well and CAN'T Wait!!!

ulrichd--I don't own a 1er yet, but I have sat in a Coral Red 135, and I think you have done a nice job representing the true color of the interior.

BTW, since I am thinking about a 128 stick, with sport package, how do you like yours?

Coming from a Cooper S, the 128 represent a slight performance increase. Much of my driving is done in the city so the 135 would be wasted on me. I changed my car to 18" wheels with non-runflats and the ride is superior to the Mini with 17" tires. I am really thrilled with the combo.

Only slight? The 128i is about a second faster to 60 than the R53 MCS. 7.2 vs 6.1secs is roughly the same performance gap as the 128 vs 135 (6.1 vs 5.1secs).

Oh, and I wanna see more pics of your car, since its exactly the combo I want. POST 'em up!
