licence plate lights.....

hi people,

probably the one light that on any other car, is the simplest to change, is the licence plate light.

well i noticed one of mine is out. take a look in the book and it says.....

'LED Technology. go to a BMW dealer, or BMW approved repairer'

surely you can just buy the bulb and change it at home? someone tell me yes...?

i removed the old one. just a small lever action and its out. a small plug and for that, they advise to go to the dealer....???

BMW would recommend getting gas at the dealer if they could. Haha
