So what is the consensus for proper 18" wheel/tire fitment for a stock 135i that will not rub and not require fender rolling?

I have heard many conflicting statements on what works and what rubs.

Wheels: F18x8.5 ET46 R18x9.5 ET50 with
Tires: 225/40-18 255/35-18 or
235/40-18 265/35-18

I heard that the best combo is 225/255 and with 235/265 the rears will rub.

I would like to keep the F/R wheel diameters the same, but the 235/255 is nice to help the understeer a little. But that setup there is 0.4" difference in wheel diameters.

Also, is having hub centric rings that negative of an issue? Given a choice I think I would prefer wheels that don't need them.

Thanks for the information guys.

A lot of areas in socal are currently without power and that may be the reason. The storm is getting bad here.

It really just depends on what offsets you get. If you want a wider tire then just get slightly higher offsets to accomodate. Some guys are leaving it up to Forgestar to give them the best fit based on their specs. As far as rings, had some Volks with rings and had no issues. Actually, no issues with my F14's!

Another paid buyer added!

Yep, most likely that.
MASS props to the group over at **********s. Within like 5 minutes of me making that post, Kevin and Allen sent me a PM, separately

So far I love the company, can't wait for this all to go through! Thanks guys!

(on a side note apparently there's an online way to do the group buy, I don't wanna release the link without their permission, but that might actually get some faster responses from people like me )

yeah i have a money tree in the backyard lol.. so by the looks of it, we have 15 INCLUDING me hence we only get the 200 buckaroos off, assuming there's not a 16th person. Correct me if i'm wrong. Maybe i need to convince the GF to grab a pair for her car too to get that 250 off.

I have 18" F14s with Mod Bargain recommended offsets and tires and the rears (265s) rub like hell. The rings are also a concern if you plan on switching wheels from time to time. Forgestar does offer replacement rings, but why should you need them on a wheel that is supposedly sized for the 1 series?
