LSD Install Driveshaft Nut

Some use the AR Design wrench, others have gotten by using a slim 50mm wrench (ATV axle or fan clutch kit). I tried the 50mm fan clutch nut wrench but the tolerance was off by 1mm and that was enough to cause it keep slipping. End of day I sourced a jumbo 6 wrench set from HF (part number 33284), and honestly I couldn't think of a better tool. The nut is a major PITA to loosen and I'm skeptical of any slim wrench. I've heard while the AR tool does work don't expect to get many jobs out of it.

Normal price was $50 but after 25% coupon I paid $38. Again totally worth it. The wrench is massive but still slim enough to slip in. But I will note if you're doing this on the ground then you may have no choice but to use a smaller wrench coupled with a breaker bar.

Thanks! looks like a good option. How are you liking the LSD and what kind of driving do you do?

Mostly underground street racing and drifting at a local Dunkin Donut parking lot

In all seriousness I have a dedicated track car (see signature) but without a trailer its hard to drive that car to tracks more than 5 hours away. The 1 is my daily but I'm looking to take it to 1-2 events next year and auto-x on a more regular basis. Want to hone my car control skills for the road course.
