I was very impressed with this combo on the track. Feels good on the street as well and started off quieter than stock.
But the rears now squeal constantly, very annoying. Going to try rebedding them. If that doesn't work does anyone have any other suggestions? -more grease? -chamfering edges? |

BiscottiGelato tried using brake grease in this thread and he said it worked to eliminate the squeal. |

My Ferodo pad squeals like hell and I didn't re-use the backing plates. Other users have the same experience too. So I don't understand why everyone here said no noise:-(:-(:-(
Although the performance is good but the squealing and chunking noise just annoying. I am thinking about revert it back to OEM pads because of the noise.

My squealing is on and off, only with light low speed braking and only from the rears.
Most of the time it's quiet. I haven't noticed any clunking. Performance is good. Feels like stock on the road and I haven't managed to overwhelm them on the track yet. My car is getting a service next week so while it's there I'll ask them to put the shims/backing plates in and use some caliper grease. |

I have the same clunk noise for my pad too..... When compare the OEM pad , it is shorter .....so every time hit the brakes, the pad will move and hit the bracket, that causing the noise.
