I just emailed Nelson but thought I'd respond and say I'm interested, in particular if the price is right. I just (like 1 hour ago) did the BAV Sound pre order on the drop in underseat subs for $397 ($100 off) so I'm really interested in how this is going to come together sound wise with my BAV Sound Stage 1 on my 2012 135i. Question for the group:

Should I rip out a poorly-performing XD600/6 & Cleansweep for this? I can use the amp in my 4Runner, and would sell the Cleansweep or bin it. The problem is I have a nasty whine that I've never been able to solve (honestly, I haven't really tried all that hard to fix it).

I have Morel Virtus tweets & 4", and earthquake underseats. I also have an E88 that I drive 80% top-down.

Are you sure the whine is coming from the amp or is it from another source like (maybe) the head unit?

Good point. When I remove the inputs to the amp (signal), the whine goes away.

Nelson was waiting for 1/2 series brackets this week and the list says you have an e88. So you might be waiting for a couple more days.
