Keep in mind that I offen drove M5 e60 and X6 M, recently M3 6MT and DCT, and I say that : once you've pressend the M button, the 1M is a ROCKET !!

Hey Chris - can you confirm if your 1M has a lighter/ash tray? I tried to have that option deleted on my 1M but apparently not possible?

It only does but i think it was the first time he was in the high revs. It doesn't open valves in the exhaustline so far i know

No, I do it gradually. 4'000-4'500.... and now 6000 but NOT with full throttle. Of course it's very different in high revs but the M touch makes also a big difference

I read in the swiss BMW magazine that the M button changed the sound of the engine and it was so on the X6 M so I thought it was so, but it doesn't seem to be

But keep in mind that the sound is very nice, without the M touch

Yes. I think in Switerland yo have to ask to have the ash tray, for free. But if you don't smoke, it makes you a little place to put you mobile phone or sth like that. And there is not to much spaces in the 1er !!

I use my father's policy, about 65% cut off. And in Switzerland, no problem for young drivers in powerfull cars. You maybe might come here with your AW 1M. (For insurance, of course........)

Hahah I live just past Albecq at Cobo!

Yeh, it doesnt take long at all to get around the island.

This may give you a better idea of the roads (bear in mind, the coast roads that you see in the video are the widest roads in the island with a speed limit of 35mph)

I will definitely be taking my car off island, I have booked the first trip with my family at the beginning of June, its only to the UK but better than nothing

as7920 ... our temperature at the moment is about 12 degrees, a bit too cold for a bikini at the moment methinks
