Can someone help me identify these wheels?

Having trouble identifying these wheels. They are currently on a 2008 135i. Not sure if they are OEM or not. Thanks

Most like BMW Styling 42.

If that is correct, they come in 1 piece and a nice (very nice) 2 piece in various sizes:

http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/42

The size information is not accurate, i have seen some in 16", 17x8, 17x8,5 as well as 18" sizes. I guess it depends on the market/region.

Breyton Race GTS wheels. It says the name right near the lug nuts. They came in 1-series offsets. Rear was more concave then the front, I was looking at a used set. Seem to be hard to find/purchase in the US, but are still available in Europe. I think there was some issues with cracked spokes.

They make the GTS-R in 7.5x18 et45 & 8.5x18 et48 & you can get them in the US. I've been thinking about getting a set in mat gunmetal. In those fitments it would give 4mm more inner clearance & extend an extra 4mm out on all 4 corners.

Pics from here.

If you’re interested, I have a set in satin black (w/out the red stripe) collecting dust in my garage in Palm Beach Gardens. I’ll take $400 if you come pick them up. They currently have a set of worthless PSS tires on them to protect the wheels, and 2009 TPMSs.

BTW, they do sit a little more flush with the fenders compared to OEM wheels.

Someone on the 1 series German forum weighed them:

VA 7,5x18 ET 45 => 7,8 kg
HA 8,5x18 ET 48 => 8,4 kg

Those are damn light if this information is correct, but i read somewhere they crack?

You guys outside of Germany are lucky, you do not need any TÜV approvals for anything. Buying Apex wheels for me is very risky, even if they are dedicated track wheels, if i ever want to sell them, the buyers list is VERY limited (only those who know the brand will seek them). You guys can slap on anything and just drive and you have a much bigger wheel market.

I’m sure you can crack just about any light weight wheel given the right speed/impact, but I never had an issue with these Breyton. That being said, the roads where I live are pretty good.

BTW, these wheels are stamped “TUV approved” on the face. And yes, they are super light.

I am guessing a 5mm spacer in the front would be required to run 245/35 all round?

And i was referring to other wheels such as Apex, Enkei, Rota etc that do not have TÜV approval(s).
