Favorite Trunk Organizer?

I was wondering if anyone here stuck an organizer box in either of the side cubbies in their trunk. I've got some detailing stuff that I'd like to keep from rolling around and leaking everywhere to stand up in the battery area where the mesh is. Suggestions welcome

I went with Rola M.O.V.E 59000. It fit nicely, has a rubber base that doesn't slide with my rubber trunk lining. I keep my detail kit in a tool bag.

Thanks for the tip. Just watched a quick video clip about this product. I might consider picking one of these up. I like how it folds flat when not in use.

BMW use to have an OEM folding organizer like the Rola above, but I don't think they make it anymore. Plus, that is too big for the little side cubbies. What I've found useful is the BMW Oil travel bag. It holds a fair amount, will fit in the cubbies and has a velco strip on the back that sticks to the trunk liner.

For shopping bags you can use grocery bag holder. Very nice and cheap mod.

My 2011 128i Convertible came with the right-side cubby net. I used an old camera bag (black, so it sorta matched) to store a few odds and ends, including sunscreen. The bag acts as the first line of defense against spills. To further protect against spills I put in a WeatherTech Trim-to-Fit All Vehicle Cargo Mat, which I chose after reading not-so-great things about the BMW version. Well, the Weather-tech isn't so great either. I could not get it to fit without trimming off part of the raised ridge that's there to prevent runoff. I did not want to do that so it's kind of scrunched in there for now.

Many people seem to favor the OEM one and I ordered one last week so should get it Wednesday or Thursday to let you know what I think. I think it's more plastic than rubber though.

This is correct. It does its job but I was unimpressed with the quality when I got it and felt a bit ripped off.

Guess we're paying for fit, not finish.

that sucks. i'd really like one in the same kind of rubber as the front and rear floor rubber floor mats i've ordered (OEM).

I got the OEM one for fit, agree that the finish is not really worth the price, but I didn't like the way that the weather tech ones didn't have a lip all the way around.

Nope. Looking for something to hold a couple of spray bottles in the side cubby net area. Leak-proof is a must.

This is my favorite trunk organizer. Very cheap. Holds a lot. Have an M mobility kit, quart of oil, glass cleaner, some towels, water wetter, air gauge, redline fuel system cleaner, basic tools, etc... Jumper cables are under the floor near the battery. I really miss the metal hooks my e46 had for the bungee cords. This works.

I have the Rola 59K as well from a previous car.. It's great.. Quick, good non skid and allows for "spirited driving" with eggs, organ transplants and crap in the trunk.. The underrated part of the design is the spring to keep it open. It works great. Go buy one you cheap bastards..

That's actually very similar on what came in the Audi A4 that I used to have, but it looks like this one is just installed via magnets.
