I have a similar one (no microphone) in my 95 Jag. Works OK. Better than the plug in ones but bluetooth sound is lacking.
If I were installing today I would install an on off switch instead of keeping it hot all the time.

Do you have the "S6FLA" usb audio interface? A quick search found this one which looks like it might have a good music stack. https://bmwstream2air.com/products/b...nd-mini-cooper There is a $30 knockoff of that one on Amazonia (yoosen or something like that?) but I have no idea if it would have decent sound? For the record I've used the iSimple products in the past and they work fine but it was for my e60 which didn't have BT for phone.

As mentioned above, the TuneAir is great for music, but if you need both phone and music, you may try one of these relatively inexpensive things plugged into your aux port. I've been using one for a while, and it's fine. https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bluetoot...ateway&sr=8-19 |

I ordered one of these a couple weeks ago and got a notice that it shipped yesterday. I'll let you know how it works after I've had a chance to play a bit.
The 2011 tech in the "new" 135i is a bit of a bitter pill after getting used to the latest greatest systems in our other cars. Quote:
